I miss the days of MS CFS CFS2 online gaming. My setup runs those old favorites like a LAWNMOWER through BUTTER. I tested for many hours on FSX. 1920x1080x32 on a Samsung SyncMaster2233SW 21.5″. With no overclocking on the CPU or GPU – I like this card and setup for what I paid for it. Would I like a $9,000 box. Yes, If I could find a better job than at Burger World, but hey, a man has gotta know his limitations.

The short answer to your question, which you won’t want to hear, is “no”.

Because FSX is so configurable and behaves so differently on two apparently identical systems (in terms of CPU speed and amount of RAM) there’s no way of telling what you’ll get except looking for yourself. The chances are, however, that if you move every slider to the right, the answer will be “low” when flying anywhere other than the deepest backwoods of the middle of nowhere.

MS FS – any version so far – is more interested in CPU speed and system RAM than GPU speed and graphics RAM.

Can anyone tell me how many FPS you get on MS FSX with this Graphics Card and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ processor (with 4GB RAM and Windows XP)with FSX’s detail maxed out.
