I’ve heard the installer is an absolute pain.
I haven’t read any blurb on the installer. I downloaded the file, followed the instructions to point the installer to the correct file, then installed.
The only thing I didn’t like is that REX then wouldn’t run till I’d created a backup of my textures, but as my textures were already altered, all it’s actually done is back up the altered textures rather than default.
The installer is being fixed as far as I know – The biggest problem is that on certain setups it deletes the exe.dll.
I had to reconstruct mine, luckely I had a backup.
And the patch is out now.
