The last Sim Update 5 applied to Microsoft Flight Simulator requires now a little Hotfix, gone live already, making MSFS to go version 1.18.14.0.
Download the update first via Windows Store, and then launch MSFS for the final install step in order to fix the necessary and following items :
- Fixed various crashes in game and on the world map
- Fixed crashes related to the offline AI traffic
- Fixed minor memory leaks
- The title should no longer freeze for a very long time when connecting / disconnecting peripherals

I still am not able to get the damned hotfix from the MS Store and no idea of how to get it to bloody work. The sim is awesome but why the infuriatingly stupid installer that never works. You can model the entire world in minute detail but the bloody installer doesn’t understand what version of the sim I am on? Where are the good old days where you just got a link to a normal file and ran it instead of relying on the MS store that NEVER does what it is supposed to.
