The latest update (1.2b191) for Fly the Maddog X MSFS2020 introduces full ACARS/CPDLC support, integrating SayIntentions.ai for enhanced communication capabilities. This update brings a major advancement in realism, as SayIntentions AI can now be selected from the Data provider menu in the Load Manager (LM), requiring the user to input an API key in the ACARS section under Advanced Options.
The update also addresses an issue with ACARS messages that previously used LF as a line separator, ensuring smoother message transmission. Additionally, a new option in the Load Manager allows users to enable realistic steering via rudder pedals, with a maximum range of +/- 17°, offering a more immersive experience for taxiing and ground maneuvers.
Furthermore, the parking brakes knob in the virtual cockpit (VC) has been improved to simulate real-world functionality. Engaging and releasing parking brakes now mimics actual procedures by holding the brakes pedal down while manipulating the knob, although key shortcuts and joystick buttons still toggle the parking brakes as before for ease of use.

Tell me more about SayIntentions.ai
SayIntentions.ai is an advanced AI-powered communication system designed to enhance the realism of airliner simulations by providing more dynamic and responsive interaction with air traffic control (ATC). For simmers flying airliners, it brings the ability to interact with ATC in a more realistic manner, simulating real-world airline operations where pilots use ACARS/CPDLC for exchanging messages with dispatch, ground operations, and ATC. By integrating SayIntentions.ai into Fly the Maddog X, simmers can now experience more immersive and automated communication, making their flights feel more authentic and aligned with real airline procedures.
