Jetstream Designs is thrilled to announce that their first three sceneries—LFPO (Paris Orly), LFBO (Toulouse-Blagnac), and LFRS (Nantes Atlantique)—are now fully updated for compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS24). These updates leverage MSFS24’s new features, such as higher-resolution ground markings, while addressing existing challenges like unusual AI traffic behavior. The updates for these sceneries will be available for download shortly.
The Phase 1 updates bring specific improvements to each airport. LFPO (version 1.4.0) has enhanced terminal textures, an updated ground layout, and a fix for the apron “river” issue in MSFS24. LFBO (version 1.1.0) features upgraded building textures, removal of excess streetlights on Airbus factory aprons, and improved terraforming. LFRS (version 2.1.0) includes reworked terraforming and better building placements. These updates focus on compatibility and incremental upgrades while laying the groundwork for more significant changes in the future.
Phase 2 will involve more comprehensive enhancements across all sceneries, with new features, additional details, and updates reflecting real-world changes. Jetstream Designs hints at a similar transformation to the LFRS scenery last year, which included a major ground layout overhaul and new textures. The next airports scheduled for Phase 1 updates are LSGG (Geneva), LIML (Milan Linate), and LICJ (Palermo).
