Pilot Experience Sim – 2025 Road Map | Paris CDG, Rijeka Croatia and King Air C90 Projects

Pilot Experience Sim has made significant strides in updating their MSFS products, including free version 2 upgrades for Bordeaux, Montpellier, and Biarritz. These updates include new interiors, custom jetways, ambient sounds, and optimizations. Updates have also been provided for MSFS24 compatibility, allowing users to enjoy these improvements without additional costs. However, transitioning to MSFS24 has presented challenges, as Microsoft requires products in the MSFS24 Marketplace to be built with the updated SDK, which disrupts functionality in earlier versions.

Looking ahead, Pilot Experience Sim plans to release new versions of their products designed exclusively for MSFS24. These will require separate purchases due to the extensive work involved in adapting to the new SDK. While updates for existing MSFS20 products have been offered free of charge, future versions dedicated to MSFS24 will not follow this model. The team is facing delays due to limited support from Microsoft and Asobo as they stabilize MSFS24, affecting timelines for upcoming releases.

Despite the challenges, progress is being made on key projects, including Paris Charles de Gaulle (LFPG), Rijeka (LDRI), and the King Air C90. Rijeka is nearing release, while work on Charles de Gaulle is advancing steadily. However, development of the King Air C90 has slowed as it no longer aligns well with MSFS20 and MSFS24.
