SimWorks Studios Prepares Major Updates for PC-12 and Shares NG Teaser

SimWorks Studios has shared an exciting development update, following their recent appearance on Twotonemurphy’s stream to showcase the GA-8 Airvan. With the Airvan nearing completion, the team is shifting focus to the PC-12. The long-awaited tablet integration is nearly done for the GA-8 and will be ported over to the PC-12 shortly—this step will complete one of the most significant features still pending for the aircraft. In parallel, an improved flight model addressing drag at slower speeds is undergoing testing, delivering promising results. A small update will soon be released for the PC-12, including this refined flight model, avionics bug fixes, and potentially the tablet if it is ready in time. Final avionics enhancements and full conversion to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024-native format will follow.

The PC-12 is also set to benefit from a sophisticated failure simulation system, based on the tech developed for the Airvan. In its first iteration, this will cover over 100 failure points across key systems like electrical, avionics, fuel, oil, brakes, and the propeller governor. SimWorks Studios also offered a glimpse of the PC-12 NG variant, which is already in-game and will be a quick follow-up once the legacy variant’s systems are complete. With the GA-8 Airvan wrapping up and major updates rolling out for the PC-12, SimWorks Studios is moving at full throttle to bring advanced realism and immersion to MSFS pilots.
