FlyByWire Simulations has released a major update for both its flagship aircraft: the A380X Alpha and the A32NX Stable version 0.13.0. The A380X Alpha continues to evolve with deeper system fidelity, including improved FCU functionality, clearer FMS layouts, and new failure modes. Enhancements to the electronic flight bag (EFB), sharper visual textures, more realistic wingflex, and refined hydraulic and engine simulations offer a significantly more immersive flying experience. This alpha release reflects FlyByWire’s commitment to replicating the A380’s complex systems with increasing realism.
Meanwhile, the A32NX stable build also receives several upgrades, particularly aimed at improving VR camera views, flight realism, and system behavior. Enhancements include refined brake simulation, more accurate onboard flight computer logic, and better handling of ground power units (GPU). These updates are part of FlyByWire’s synchronized development cycle, where both aircraft now share version numbers and release schedules. Pilots are advised that throttle calibration is now mandatory, with a guide available to ensure proper setup. Full release notes are accessible through the FlyByWire documentation site.
