The Black Square Starship for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 will be released on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, with a price of £39.99 / €44.95 / $54.99. A free 190-page draft manual is already available for download to help pilots familiarize themselves with the aircraft ahead of launch. Initially, the aircraft will be sold exclusively via the Just Flight website, with third-party stores and the MSFS Marketplace following later.

This add-on is Black Square’s most complex and technically detailed simulation yet, offering over 230 possible failures, full turbine engine failure modeling, and the rare Collins AMS-850 avionics suite. The included tablet interface allows management of failures, payload, electrical systems, and engine/environmental schematics. The Starship features extremely realistic systems simulation, including avionics cooling behavior, advanced pressurization, accurate electrical systems with 170+ circuit breakers, and even carbon monoxide detection.

Designed in collaboration with real-world Starship owners, the aircraft includes advanced navigation systems like VLF/Omega, fully modeled autopilot coupling, functional CRT display warm-up logic, and realistic damage modeling from FOD and engine misuse. It also features a custom sound set by Boris Audio Works, highly realistic flight dynamics based on real data, and modern MSFS features like CFD prop physics and improved ground handling. Over 600 checklist items are included with full in-game highlighting to guide pilots through normal and emergency procedures.
