MK Studios Updates Multiple Airports – Montreal, LaGuardia, Zurich & More Get Major Improvements

MK Studios has just delivered a wave of updates across several of their Microsoft Flight Simulator sceneries, breathing new life into older releases while also maintaining momentum with recent projects like Seattle and Düsseldorf.

Among the most notable improvements is Montreal Airport (v1.3.0), now fully compatible with MSFS 2024. The update brings enhanced taxiway layouts, new custom centerline lighting, LOD and optimization reworks, AFCAD fixes, and the removal of the PAPI from RWY24R. This makes it one of their most refined legacy upgrades to date.

LaGuardia Airport (v1.1.0) also receives fresh ground textures and general fixes, while Zurich (v1.1.0) benefits from improved materials, AFCAD corrections, object sorting adjustments, and further optimizations.

Even Seattle (v1.0.2), one of their latest releases, sees tweaks including improved dirt layering and isolated gate corrections in the AFCAD.

MK Studios isn’t stopping there—updates for Sevilla, Málaga, and Girona are almost ready and will include MSFS 2024 compatibility alongside visual enhancements. Once these are rolled out, the team plans to continue refreshing other existing airports in their catalog.

Lastly, for those eagerly awaiting future content, Helsinki and Rome are actively in development.

Stay tuned for live availability of these updates across stores in the coming days!
