The June development update expands on these highlights, revealing the team’s strong momentum across systems, visuals, and audio. A fully simulated APU, comprehensive electrical and hydraulic systems, and responsive synoptic pages underline Synaptic’s focus on realism. The aircraft now supports SimBrief uplink, displays Navigraph charts directly on the cockpit displays, and features a dynamic airport moving map.
In terms of flight dynamics, notable refinements have been made to the electronic flight control system, autothrottle, and speed trim logic, building a more authentic and stable flight experience. Synaptic also confirmed broad performance optimizations, with memory leak fixes and architectural improvements.
A surprise reveal in the update is the partnership with Echo19, who are crafting the A220’s soundscape using custom recordings from the real aircraft, promising a spatially immersive and realistic audio experience.
As FSExpo attendees had the chance to test the aircraft live at Booth 401 (with iniBuilds), Synaptic confirms that deeper system showcases will follow throughout the summer, with spotlight updates planned through September.
