Aerosoft Shares New A340-600 Project Details for MSFS in Collaboration with ToLiss

Aerosoft has published a new development update on its A340-600 Pro project for Microsoft Flight Simulator, developed in close collaboration with ToLiss. While no release date or pricing information has been announced yet, the team continues to offer regular insights into the aircraft’s progress as it moves through active development.

The latest update focuses on newly shared screenshots highlighting fine-grain exterior and cockpit details. Among them are close-up views of the engine outlet, several cockpit elements, and a dedicated development image from the 3D modelling department. Aerosoft places particular emphasis on the cockpit, where a subtle message has been left in the MCDU scratchpad—acknowledging the most frequently asked question from the community: when.

Looking ahead, Aerosoft revealed plans for a small interactive initiative starting with a future Friday update. From that point onward, selected screenshots will include hidden hints. Community members who successfully identify all of them will be entered into a draw to win one of five free copies of the A340-600 Pro. According to Aerosoft, this initiative is intended as a thank-you to its most engaged Discord users who closely follow development updates.

One development image showcases the aircraft’s wing structure in a partially separated view, revealing flaps, spoilers, slats, and internal connections. Aerosoft notes that nearly a hundred small details are visible in this area alone, reflecting the high level of craftsmanship and attention invested by the 3D artists. This level of visual fidelity is expected to extend throughout the aircraft.

The update also included a note on scheduling. The beta phase in Stuttgart, originally planned to begin this week, has been delayed by one week. Aerosoft explained that the decision was made to avoid occupying testers with unresolved, obvious issues, reinforcing the team’s focus on quality control and efficient testing.

Further details on the A340-600 project, including the upcoming community challenge, are expected in the next scheduled Friday update.

Finally, in their Discord server, Aerosoft highlighted a recent independent video by YouTuber SimWorldPro, showcasing the Aerosoft Mt. Everest Vol. 3 add-on. The company confirmed the video was unsolicited and unpaid, praising the depth and care put into the presentation and encouraging viewers to support the creator.
