Drzewiecki Design has shared a new development preview of its upcoming Szczecin–Goleniów Airport (EPSC) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator, outlining significant progress made at the start of 2026.
Recent work includes the addition of a new hangar, a fully rebuilt control tower interior closely matching the real-world facility, and the early stages of an all-new terminal building. The surrounding airport area continues to expand with garages, the former control tower, a railway station, shelters, cargo facilities, and various technical buildings.
Ground detailing is also advancing, with updated concrete sections, tire marks, weathering effects, revised CGL, new road layouts, parking areas, and improved airside infrastructure. According to the developer, these elements are intended to create a more cohesive and realistic airport environment.
Infrastructure upgrades are another focus of the project. Drzewiecki Design confirmed the implementation of custom approach lighting for runway 13/31, an upgraded VOR, and a new LPR helipad complete with lighting and taxiways. Terrain shaping around the control tower and rail infrastructure along the airport perimeter are underway, with animated trains planned to add further activity to the scenery.
Drzewiecki Design states that development is progressing step by step, with the goal of delivering a fully detailed and immersive representation of Szczecin Airport for MSFS. Further previews and updates are expected as work continues.
