A new visual enhancement is now available for AVRO RJ pilots in Microsoft Flight Simulator with the AVRO RJ HDR Cockpit Texture Pack from AD HOC Simulations, focusing on cockpit atmosphere, material depth, and lighting realism.
The package replaces the default cockpit textures with high-definition HDR assets, delivering deeper contrast, improved readability, and a more nuanced response to cockpit lighting. Subtle wear and refined surface details add to the sense of realism, creating a flight deck that evolves visually from initial power-up through shutdown.
Lighting balance has been carefully tuned to avoid harsh highlights while preserving clarity across instruments and panels. Despite the visual upgrade, the texture pack is optimized to maintain smooth performance in both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020, making it suitable for regular short-haul operations.
