Every month, Microsoft Games development team comes with some more infos and updated preview screenshots. We have a quick closer look at one of the default aircraft virtual cockpit, and the most interesting is their note about the needed hardware to run Microsoft Flight, at low and high settings. As I remnind they’re talking about the default sim without add-on, I wouldn’t be as positive as they do. When you taxi in a detailed airport scenery onboard an advanced airplane model, you will need even more CPU power, and even more memory than announced there.

Bill Ortis of Lionheart Simulations is fairly well known for his concept and fictional models, in addition to modelling some very nice but very reasonably priced real world models, too. The latest Work in Progress shots that he has uploaded to his Facebook site are of another concept model, the Avelina, and include both native gmax mesh screenshots, as well as compiled, in-sim shots. Now I know that every time we post something not directly related to Flight Simulation here, we get at least one complaint from someone that this is simFlight, not some general news site.
