Things have moved on well during past weeks, and Wing Creation has just launched Tokyo Narita RJAA for FSX and Prepar3d, now found at simMarket. The realistic facilities show photoreal textures with seasonal effects on the terrain. The animated jetway and working dock guidance system will enhance your flights even without AES, for now at least.

The real manufacturer Cessana announced the EX version of their Grand Caravan in July 2012. Today in October 2013, Carenado publisher is about to make it available on the virtual market for FSX/P3D. With “more power, greater performance”, Cessna writes that ““The Grand Caravan EX will climb faster, and have the power and capacity to take on missions in parts of the world with higher elevations and higher temperatures while still delivering on utility.”

Since the Pilatus PC-21 release, IRIS designers must have been busy enough to justify the lack of news. Just this weekend, IRIS Simulations shared public preview screenshots revealing the 3D model of the upcoming Pilatus PC-9/A virtual cockpit. Three more titles have been added to the expanding range of VFR Airfields from Aerosoft. Set against 50cm/pixel aerial photography of both the aerodromes themselves and a small amount of surroundings, the airfields are all characterful smaller locations, away from the larger location most simmers frequent. The latest three releases are Heide-Buesum (EDXB), Husum-Schwesing (EDXJ) and St. Michaelisdonn (EDXM), some from the earlier “German Airfields” packages, while others are brand new, but all can now be purchased individually. We shouldn’t have heard about it.. but too late, some developers (here and there) let escape the word spread aout a new version of the flight simulator by Lockheed Martin : Prepar3d V2. For now it’s running beta tests, and it will be very hard to get more information since the Non Disclosure Agreement has not been cancelled yet.
