As far as aircraft go, it doesn’t get much more iconic than the good old Boeing 707. Captain Sim released their ‘707 Captain’ earlier this year, finally brining a detailed version of this icon of aviation to FSX. Let’s take it for a flight, and see what it’s made of!
Captain Sim completes its 707 Captain base pack with the announced expansion models which are now available. Purchased together at Captain Sim store, the price reached 60 US$, the original price of the base pack alone, but now it is yours for 30 US$.
Fellow pilots of the 707 Captain will be able to add expansions to their Captain Sim product according to the following videos announced by the publisher. “The 707 Captain Expansions video featuring the 707-300C, VC-137 and E-3 expansion models is available for your viewing pleasure at http://www.captainsim.com.”
In the 707 Captain Base Pack, you’ll find the Boeing 707-320B and Boeing 707-320B ADV models, with 13 liveries made of high resolution textures. Among many other features, there are a weather radar and the doppler navigation system.
There is a price drop of 20 EUR for the 707-300Â Base Pack, at 40 EUR instead of 60. They also announced in their forum that their next project will be the 737-100/200, the 200 series being an expansion pack.
