httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWxaRELPXlo&feature=player_embedded This is a recent video of a “classic” as FSX sceneries, St Maarten by FlyTampa filmed with ones of the most beautiful airplanes add-ons available : PMDG 737 NGX, Airbus X, Level-D 767. Always nice to appreciate those singular landings over the beach on final.
Enter the FlyTampa forum to discuss the next airport to be designed by George Grimshaw after he released Athens. Note he’s working on a patch 1.1 that should be installed on your hard disk in a few days. Stay tuned.
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WT53-YYVrhw&feature=player_embedded In just 1min47s, this video achieves to be dense enough to demonstrate the level of details and realism installed in FSX by FlyTampa Athens. The scenery can be also installed for FS2004.
The final product screenshots of Athens by FlyTampa display a very high level of details that we haven’t seen in the quick previews during development. George Grimshaw added a well amount of realism with hand placed Autogen, high definition textures even on hotel buildings and vehicles…

You know that town? That town with a name that makes you think of Texas? Indians? Cowboys? Yes, I’m talking about Buffalo, the town close to one of the most spectacular natural sights in the USA: Niagara Falls. It’s this town that I’m going to look at in this second instalment of “Ultimate City Xâ€. I will once again combine addons to get the most out of them and that way try to recreate Buffalo as best as I can so that the approach to KBUF’s runway 5 will never be the same again.
Those of you that started using flight simulator before FS2004 came along, are no strangers to virtual Chicago. Indeed, until FS2004, the default flight started at Meigs airfield, just off the shore of the city of Chicago – “the windy cityâ€. I still remember increasing the throttle on that little default Cessna, taking off and looking at the “detailed†buildings that were the Chicago skyline. This is FS98 I’m talking about. Now, after over 10 years, I return to Chicago.

Including animated car traffic, seasonal change effects and volumetric grass, the FSX upgrade exists at a lower price for owners of the FS2004 scenery initially released in 2005.
