Many of us older types who can remember the days of yore will remember when Microsoft Flight Simulator came with far fewer aircraft than it does now and the default flight being a Cessna 182RG, sitting on runway 36 at Merrill C Meigs Field in Chicago.

Of course Meigs is now gone, both in real life and in the sim, as is the C182RG from the default aircraft lineup, but the airframe is still very popular and at least one model is still available as a commercial product for FSX – this is the Carenado product as seen above, for which Synchro-Soft‘s latest add-on sound pack is developed.The sound pack can be found here, while if you are interested in Carenado’s rendition of the aircraft, that can be found here.
