PMDG’s Product Pipeline: Status Updates and MSFS 2024 Integration

In their in-house forum PMDG’s Robert Randazzo has provided a substantial update on their product lineup, with significant progress across multiple aircraft and their transition to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

777-200ER Development

  • Beta testing continues with focus on engine performance validation
  • Detailed tuning of three engine variants (PW, GE, RR) with unique sound packages
  • Simultaneous release planned for both MSFS 2020 and 2024
  • Will include 30+ liveries and integration with PMDG Operations Center 3.0
  • Release date is set internally but not yet announced publicly

777-300ER and 777F Updates

  • Upcoming updates will include fixes and improvements
  • Enhanced sound environment across the 777 family
  • MSFS 2024 compatibility being added
  • Free upgrade to MSFS 2024 version for existing owners

DC-6 Progress

  • Previous performance issues in MSFS 2024 have been resolved
  • Lighting and illumination systems being adapted for MSFS 2024

737 Status

  • Early stages of MSFS 2024 evaluation
  • New cabin model integration in progress

747 Development Highlights

  • Active development on both Classic and -400 variants

  • Planned variants include 747-100, -200B, -SP, -300, -400, and -8
  • Being developed primarily for MSFS 2024
