New update available for the major Greek airport of Athens LGAV : FlyTampa has released version 1.7 of their scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, introducing several visual and functional enhancements. A major highlight is the improved Hangar 56 area, now featuring a new rear model and updated Aegean and CAE branding, along with refreshed logos for both Hangar 56 and 57. Additional updates include a solar farm extension, a newly added General Aviation ramp with green centerlines, and extra parking spots ranging from B70 to B84. The heliport’s elevation has been adjusted for better realism, while the static Hellenic 747 has been repositioned. A new animated radar now adorns the control tower, adding more life to the airfield.
The update also enhances the airport’s infrastructure and compatibility. A new baggage handling building supports the expanded parking area, and a security checkpoint has been added near the FBO building. Lighting improvements include brighter green taxiway lights, contributing to better visibility during nighttime operations. Updated libraries and general terraforming enhancements boost overall visual quality and performance, with specific tweaks to support Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
