This update addresses specific issues like the missing markings at Gate 50 and a kink in a taxiway on the Kilo Apron. It also includes improvements such as optimized terminal interiors, reduced VRAM usage, corrected dynamic light placement, and minor AFCAD and aerial imagery adjustments. Additionally, a spelling error in the Qantas signage inside the terminal was fixed.
The previous major update, Version 2.5 released a few days before, introduced a wide range of enhancements. These included new ramp parkings (122–125), added taxiways D and J, and significant rework of parking stands 83 to 85 and the reservoir area. The update featured revamped ground textures, remodeled infrastructure like radar towers, motorway tunnels, car parks, jetways, cargo and GA buildings, fences, and commercial facilities like McDonald’s and BP. The terminal interior was expanded, and compatibility with MSFS 2024 was improved through updated libraries, optimized LODs, new lighting, and general performance enhancements.
