SimWorks Studios has shared the latest development news while work continues on their upcoming Airvan update and the 2024 version.
New Installer Coming Soon
The team has been testing their new installer, with no major issues reported. They aim for a release around the end of September. The new installer will automatically handle panel mods for compatible aircraft purchased from SimWorks Studios’ website—no more manual installation required. The team is also exploring this feature for Marketplace purchases and will provide updates when available.
PC-12 Update
The next PC-12 update is almost ready, with the exception of a fix for right veering on takeoff. While partially improved, the team is holding back the patch to fully resolve the issue. After the flight model and visual upgrades, a final update will bring EFIS improvements and the new EFB. SystemsPulse integration for the PC-12 is also in development, despite last week’s reported FS24 issue. The goal is to have the PC-12 fully updated by the end of the year.
PC-12 NG
Cockpit inaccuracies in the PC-12 NG have been fixed, and the first FS24 previews are expected in October.
