FSX expands East again

It’s nice to see more developers moving away from the usual North American and European destinations in FSX and Pacific Islands Simulation are at the forefront of the move.

Their latest scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator X is Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (IATA: XMN, ICAO: ZSAM) in China’s Fujian Province. It includes custom buildings and hangars as you’d expect, plus volumetric grass, replacement autogen, hi-rise buildings placed appropriately on the approach paths and is advertised as “soon” being compatible with Aerosoft’s AES package. Full details and more screenshots can be found on the product page.
