Isla Mujeres, the island of women, is located just off the coast of Cancun, Mexico, the other side of the Bahia de Mujeres, or the Bay of Women. Why is this starting to sound like a made up place designed to attract stag parties?
It actually isn’t fictional and Taxi2Gate have today released their rendition for Microsoft FSX, covering the entire five-mile long island with photoscenery and 3d objects. The airport itself may only be small, but it is the gateway to the island for its many visitors and provides sim pilots with a challenging landing not because of dangerous terrain or weather, but because the runway has barely 3,400′ of surface to operate from.
