Rise of Flight newsletter – version 1.31

headAlthough the new FE.2b model shown above is the star of the latest newsletter from 777 Studios, developers of WW1 sim Rise of Flight, it also brings news of a number of changes – some of which, such as an upcoming decrease in cost of the increasing amounts of DLC, will be music to fans’ ears. They also talk about adding the online Steam service to the list of distributors (it’s been available here via simMarket for some time and a free version with only two aircraft, but which can be expanded at will later, is available via the developers’ website). The final section this issue is a brief discussion of their upcoming WW2 combat flight sim, IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad.
