Skyline Simulations will not stick to X-Plane only, well MKJS Montego Bay will be the last X-Plane only scenery. They already announced earlier that their production line will then deliver detailed airports sceneries also compatible with P3D v4. KCVG Cincinatti (Kentucky) will be followed by KALO Waterloo Airport (Iowa) and then by KORD Chicago O’Hare.

The lucky owners of Chicago O’Hare scenery delivered by FSDreamTeam can have a free update. Umberto Colapicchioni explained in their forum the way to install the new version of KORD. It’s a major update with almost all files modified, enhanced winter effects and a new AFCAD file to use the cross runway setup.

Those of you that started using flight simulator before FS2004 came along, are no strangers to virtual Chicago. Indeed, until FS2004, the default flight started at Meigs airfield, just off the shore of the city of Chicago – “the windy city”. I still remember increasing the throttle on that little default Cessna, taking off and looking at the “detailed” buildings that were the Chicago skyline. This is FS98 I’m talking about. Now, after over 10 years, I return to Chicago.
