FSPause – a mobile device “Overwatch” tool

fspause_teaser_bigIf you’ve ever found the need to control your simulator remotely – for instance if you’re away from the keyboard for longer than expected – then you may possibly be interested in this new tool, designed to be accessed via any tablet or smartphone.

The basic premise of FS Pause is that you can remotely monitor the progress of a flight, or can control certain elements of it, using a desktop client application which sends information to the developers’ server, which you can then view and issue commands back via a mobile device. The application is advertised as working with Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, on Windows desktops only, with no plans to support MacOS or Linux. To find out more, you can visit the developers’ website, here.
