PMDG – 777-300ER MSFS First Update Available

PMDG has released the first update for their 777-300ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator, addressing various issues identified since its initial launch. This update, version 2.00.0034, was distributed via the Operations Center Micro-Update system, allowing for quick fixes. The update includes corrections for freezing issues related to the CLR button, improvements to the FMS functionality, refinements to virtual cockpit textures, and adjustments to external model geometry. These initial fixes aim to enhance the user experience and address disruptive problems promptly.

The team is particularly focused on a significant issue caused by SU15, which affects cockpit responsiveness. Despite extensive testing, this problem has proven difficult to resolve due to its sporadic occurrence. PMDG is collaborating with Asobo, the developers of MSFS, to identify and fix the root cause of this issue. They encourage users experiencing this problem to contact their tech support for further investigation. Additional updates are planned over the next two weeks, targeting various user-reported issues and continuing efforts to stabilize the product.

PMDG is committed to ongoing improvements and user satisfaction, with dedicated teams working on both functional and aesthetic aspects of the 777-300ER. They advise users to report issues through proper channels to ensure they are logged and addressed efficiently. As they continue to monitor the product’s performance, they appreciate the community’s patience and support, and they look forward to seeing users enjoy the 777-300ER in their virtual flights.
