The E-Jets family from X-Crafts has been updated to version 2. This update affects the entire E-Jets family, including the Lineage 1000.
Fix for the dark lighting problem of X-Plane
One of the highlights of the update is the introduction of the “Ambient Lighting Modifier™”. This feature offers three options to adjust the lighting in the cabin:
- Default: The default lighting of X-Plane.
- Dynamic: The lighting adjusts as you move through the cabin.
- Natural: The lighting is based on the exterior lighting of the aircraft, making the interior much brighter.
This feature is currently available in the Lineage 1000 and will be extended to the other E-Jets later.
Real Noise Protection
Another exciting feature is the integrated noise protection effect. This simulates how pilots hear with noise-canceling headsets by reducing cockpit noises, providing a more realistic sound experience.
Fly to Thousands More Airports – Without ILS!
With the new Glide Path (GP) Autopilot mode, you can now fly to airports without ILS. This mode offers precise vertical guidance for RNAV approaches (L/VNAV & LPV), similar to an ILS glide path. Simply select your RNAV approach in the FMS, press “APP” before the approach, and the autopilot does the rest.
The Lineage 1000: A Luxurious Business Jet
The Lineage 1000 is an outstanding addition and offers a fully customized luxury interior with five different zones, working cabin TVs, interactive elements, and adjustable lighting. It has a longer range of 8500 km thanks to more powerful engines, a new, customized fuel system, and two additional tanks in the fuselage. The Lineage 1000 also features an elaborate staircase that allows your passengers to disembark even at smaller airports without passenger boarding bridges.
Further Improvements
In addition to the highlights mentioned above, the V2 update offers a number of other improvements, including:
- Realistic strobe and navigation lights
- Improved and updated EFB tablet with integrated settings plugin
- New fuel system
- New autobrake system that feels more realistic and issues an audible warning when it automatically deactivates.
- Improved FMS functions, including FMS reset, improved page navigation, and optimized flight plan integration.
