DC Designs has announced that updates for the SC Designs F-16s and the F-5E Tiger II have been sent to Just Flight and SIMMARKET. The F-15 Eagles package is currently being updated in the same fashion and will be sent out early next week. With only the Harrier series remaining to update, DC Designs is planning significant future improvements, including the creation of custom afterburner and wing vapor effects, and a full replacement of current avionics with custom-coded systems to better reflect real-world fighter aircraft operations.
Looking ahead, DC Designs plans to complete final MSFS2020 updates before moving on to native MSFS2024 versions of its aircraft. Custom avionics will be developed gradually for MSFS2024, aiming for greater stability and accuracy. The studio also addressed livery requests, noting that while many users request new liveries, limitations within MSFS2024’s system and package sizes make additional livery packs uncertain for now. The focus remains on updating and future-proofing their aircraft lineup for the next generation of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
