FlightSimStudio AG is bringing clarity to its product range and providing information on future developments at FSExpo 2025. In addition to the Super27 version for the Boeing 727, this includes long-awaited updates to the E-Jets and an FS2024-compatible version of the Tecnams.
Super 27: A Classic with Modern Technology
The development of the Super 27 expansion for the existing 727 series (passenger and freighter versions) was officially announced at the FSWeekend in Lelystad in March. With this add-on package, the classic Boeing 727 receives a technical upgrade, including more powerful engines and numerous cockpit improvements. Now, FSS has become more specific and announced further details at FSExpo.
Highlights include:
- Digital fuel gauge
- Digital Vertical Speed Indicator with integrated TCAS
- New transponder
- Optional EFIS with EADI and EHSI (in conjunction with the GNS-XLS)
- New autopilot with advanced features such as VNAV descent
- Release is planned for fall 2025. Important: This is an upgrade, which requires the base 727 model.
E-Jets: Custom FMS enters testing phase
A lot is also happening with E-Jets. The fully self-developed Flight Management System (FMS) is currently nearing the extended testing phase. According to the developers, internal tests are progressing promisingly, and the community will soon be involved.
Interested parties can now apply for the testing phase. Users with varying experience levels will be considered. The first test group is expected to begin at the end of July 2025.
Those who aren’t immediately considered needn’t worry, according to the developers, as a more mature version is guaranteed for the official release.

Tecnam P2006T & P2012: Version 2 for FS2024 in the works
After the successful entry into the world of twin-engine piston aircraft with the Tecnam P2006T and P2012, the development team is currently working on comprehensively revised versions of both models, which are scheduled to be released natively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Details are still scarce at this time, but the release of version 2 is planned for the end of 2025. New features and improvements will be specifically tailored to the capabilities of the new simulation platform.
