FlySimware C414AW Chancellor MSFS24/20 – Two Recent Updates

FlySimware has released two successive updates for their C414AW Chancellor for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing important refinements to the flight dynamics and aircraft systems.

Update v4.7.4 (July 17, 2025) introduces a comprehensive overhaul of the flight model. The MOI (Moment of Inertia) values for yaw, roll, and pitch have been updated using a new, more accurate method, giving the aircraft a slightly heavier and more realistic feel. Additionally, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) issues that previously caused oscillations with a heavy aft payload have been resolved. This fix allowed the CG (center of gravity) to be moved slightly aft, resulting in more balanced handling throughout all phases of flight, including landing.

Hotfix v4.7.5 (July 19, 2025) updates the tablet interface to reflect the new CG data from v4.7.4, ensuring consistent and accurate aircraft performance readouts.

The C414AW Chancellor remains one of the most advanced twin-engine aircraft available for MSFS, and these updates further enhance its realism and usability.
