Boeings new aircraft, the 747-8 Freighter, made its first successful flight today from Paine Field, Everett, WA, staying airborne over Washington State for some 4 hours. Boeing has a number of web sites dedicated to their new products such as this 747-8 but also the new Dreamliner. The chief pilot Feuerstein was the speaker at the Avsim conference in Seattle that showed us the video how they cut up a 747 with a circular saw. He test flew the 747-8 yesterday.
