Just Flight has shared a fresh preview of what’s coming in the v1.4 update to their popular RJ Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator — and this time, the spotlight turns to the passenger cabin.
While the developer is widely known for its detailed cockpit systems and avionics, v1.4 introduces a new layer of immersion for those who enjoy the full airliner experience: customizable cabin interiors.
Each official livery included with the RJ will now feature its own branded cabin design — ranging from Brussels Airlines’ signature red seat accents to the more refined greys of Lufthansa. Users will also have the option to create custom cabin textures using a layered PSD paint kit, offering even more personalisation.
Cabin interaction features include functional doors, PA and lighting controls, passenger signs, power systems, and even a working coffee machine — all designed to enhance realism beyond the cockpit.
The RJ Professional will be the first aircraft to receive this feature upgrade, with similar updates planned for Just Flight’s F28 and 146 later in August.
Version 1.4 will be a free update for all existing customers, and will apply to both MSFS 2020 and 2024, across both Marketplace and external store versions. The full changelog is expected next week, ahead of the official release.
And for those who haven’t picked up the RJ yet — Just Flight hints that their Summer Sale is about to take off. Stay tuned.
