MM Simulations has just shared the final sneak peeks of their next destination for Microsoft Flight Simulator – Kavala International Airport “Alexander the Great” (LGKV) – and the release is just around the corner!
Located in northern Greece, Kavala is not only a gateway to the historic city of Kavala, but also serves the nearby island of Thasos, a popular summer destination. The airport, named after Alexander the Great, is steeped in history and plays a crucial role in regional tourism, offering stunning approaches over the Aegean Sea and scenic terrain rich in coastal and mountainous views.
Kavala LGKV handled both domestic and international flights, particularly during the summer season, and its unique runway layout and compact terminal make it a charming and challenging stopover for sim pilots exploring the eastern Mediterranean.
This new project follows the recent releases from MM Simulations, including LGSM Samos and LTBJ Izmir – both of which have been praised for their visual detail, performance, and accuracy.
🛫 The Kavala LGKV scenery will be available very shortly at SIMMARKET – stay tuned for the official release announcement!
