PILOT’S has confirmed that work is underway on a brand new version of their Dash 7, developed natively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This v2 release is not an update, but a full rebuild of the aircraft from the ground up, covering every aspect from cockpit to cargo bay.
Among the highlights already announced:
- Completely redesigned cockpit and exterior with revised geometry
- A Combi variant based on the C-GUAT airframe with its specific avionics layout
- Mixed passenger and cargo interior configuration
- Fully reworked, high-resolution textures
- New sound sets recorded during a visit to Air Tindi in Yellowknife, Canada
The team has also released a first preview video showcasing C-GUAT and its distinctive front cargo bay, a unique feature of the Dash 7 Combi.
