Flysimware continues to refine its popular Learjet 35A for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with two successive updates released in quick succession.

Version 1.8.0 (August 28, 2025) introduced a major sound overhaul with new engine audio from Boris Audio Works, improved trim and RPM clacker logic for MSFS2024, updated throttle textures with Ambient Occlusion effects, and adjustments to bleed air sound levels. Several important fixes were also included, such as correct trim disabling via the control wheel master switch, proper gear horn logic when electrical power is lost, and corrections to copilot GPS mode and turbine N2 readouts.

Just days later, version 1.8.1 (September 2, 2025) further enhances immersion with updated reverser sounds, improved ground roll and landing impact audio, and another reduction of bleed air volume. The update also resolves a critical fuel logic issue caused by a bug in the Asobo aircraft editor, preventing flame-outs and fuel transfer problems.
