After a long hiatus, Okavango Delta by SimWorks Studios is finally coming backsoon to Microsoft Flight Simulator!

When Sim Update 13 (SU13) was released, changes to the scenery engine caused severe issues for several large sceneries — including Okavango — resulting in extremely long loading times or crashes. The extent of the problem forced SimWorks Studios to delist the product from sale.

Now, after extensive behind-the-scenes work, the team has practically rebuilt the entire scenery from the ground up. Loading times are back to normal, and SimWorks Studios is carefully reviewing each airstrip and area of the Delta to ensure proper display and functionality.

While not every issue has been completely resolved yet, progress is steady — and the studio expects to release the long-awaited update in December.
