Update log:
v1.0.413
UNITY SECURITY PATCH
– Upgraded Unity to the latest patch release, which includes important security fixes (CVE-2025-59489).
LANGUAGES
– Added multi-language support for Spanish, German and Italian
FLIGHT TRACKING
– NEW FEATURE/COMMUNITY REQUEST: Added the ability to toggle on/off Fly the Line setting your sim time. It is now possible, when toggled, to fly any time you like against your schedule. Fly the Line will then offset that time against your schedule. This gives you more freedom to fly at preferred times of the day whilst flying against a set schedule. Be aware that Fly the Line is about giving you a schedule so your schedule doesn’t change based on the time you fly. IMPORTANT: Set your time and date BEFORE dispatching your flight. Fly the Line still uses your sim clock.
– Sim Rate increase now enabled for MSFS 2024. NOTE: UTC time still ticks when in a menu or the sim is paused for MSFS 2024 so pause is still not supported. Not all third-party aircraft will support sim rate increase via the Fly the Line UI.
ONLINE PLAYERS (Experimental)
– NEW FEATURE/COMMUNITY REQUEST: You will now see other Fly the Line players on the moving map. You can click the icon to see the players aircraft and airline info. Note that no personal data is uploaded. Updates are every 30 seconds. The system will predict your path based on current trajectory so your aircraft appears to be moving on the map. Note: If you experience any performance issues, turn off the feature using the toggle at the bottom of the dashboard and restart the Fly the Line app.
SCHEDULES
– NEW FEATURE/COMMUNITY REQUEST: Added the ability to toggle on/off returning to base at the end of each day – When enabled, Fly the Line will return you to and from your base each day (similar to most European short-haul airlines). When disabled, Fly the Line will mix it up, and your routes will end at a destination that may not always be your base (similar to most US domestic airlines).
– Schedule view now indicates when you are commuting from one hub to another (between shifts, when Return to Base is toggled off). When you have a layover/deadhead, you’ll see the commute route on your schedule. Note: Spending a night away from your base doesn’t have an impact on your end of day activities or stats… yet.
– Schedule view now limited to four weeks ahead.
– Changed the restrictions on the available sectors you can fly based on your min and max flight duration
– Fixed a bug where Min and Max duration did not always apply to your sectors
– Small Props are now limited to 3 hours Max Flight Duration so routes generated are not achievable based on the general max distance of a small prop
– Improved logic around the Base ICAO route numbers. The counter in the dropdown box now matches the counters on the map and is more accurate in relation to the routes that would appear in the schedule that is generated.
– General tidy up of the logic
WINGS OF WEALTH
– NEW FEATURE/COMMUNITY REQUEST: Added the ability to toggle on/off Fly the Line setting your sim time. It is now possible, when toggled, to fly any time you like against the Wings of Wealth slot you pick. This gives you more freedom to fly at preferred times of the day whilst flying against a set schedule. IMPORTANT: Set your time and date BEFORE dispatching your flight. Fly the Line still uses your sim clock.
– Fixed a bug where Fly the Line sets your Sim time to 1 Jan 0001
– SimBrief button disabled for points of interest flights (there is no destination ICAO)
UI/ARTWORK
– Fixed the body ratios for the Captains in the cut scenes – thanks to Igigik_Jane for helping out with that one ?
– Map markers have been adjusted so they no longer overlap
– Map markers opacity levels reduced
– Users aircraft marker now solid
– Map legend added (this disappears when you dispatch a flight)
– Add a fix to prevent certain peripherals from interfering with the UI (like the new WinWing Airbus throttles)
– Fixed auto-scrolling dropdown lists bug
CREATE PROFILE
– Added a Quick Settings feature to help new (and existing) users setup some basic settings such as runway length, turnaround time and max duration based on the type of airline category they want to fly for
EDIT SCHEDULE
– Fixed a bug where Start Month applies the wrong month when editing
– Fixed a bug where text is incorrectly capitalised in the Real World Airline field
– Fixed a bug where the Commit button appears offset behind the UI
– Fixed a bug where opening the Edit Schedule multiple times slows down the application
– Fixed a bug that destroys your current schedule if you build a new schedule and it fails
– Fixed a bug where the “Commit” button appears even if the system is unable to build your schedule
– Resized and re-aligned the red warning box and buttons (after closure)
MY ASSETS
– Fixed a bug where bank balance overlapped the first product item
– Fixed a bug where Personal Life boosts didn’t work when purchasing a room item
– Fixed a UI bug where some values overlapped
GAME BALANCE
Based on community feedback, some adjustments have been made to the game balance (mostly reductions in XP/Awards generosity), which many users have suggested was a little too easy.
– Slightly reduced XP weighting so you get a little less per flight
– Reduced real-time XP bonus by 66%
– Reduced XP bonuses for shift completion by 50% per bonus
– Reduced holiday bonus by 50% after each shift pattern (5 days of work)
– You no longer get a skill point per day/flight completed (this was a little too generous). Now you get a skill point per completed 5 day shift.
– Levelling up earns you 1 skill point instead of 2
– Increased the XP targets from around the middle rank upwards
FSUIPC
– System now looks for custom FSUIPC paths
CUSTOM AIRPORTS
– System now includes MS Store folder locations when searching for add-on airfields
CAPTAIN MESSAGES
– Updated the API to use a more powerful AI model which should improve response accuracy (i.e better translation of QNH values, improved, more concise responses etc)
