An alternate vision of modern air combat arrives in Microsoft Flight Simulator with the FB-22 Strike Raptor from Marine Flightsim, a fictional but carefully imagined stealth fighter-bomber based on a real-world design study that never reached production.
This FB-22-2 single-seat variant is defined by its large delta wing, aggressive stealth shaping, and long-range strike intent. Designed to bridge the gap between fighter agility and bomber reach, the aircraft is suited to both high-altitude strike profiles and low-level tactical missions, offering a distinct rhythm compared to conventional frontline fighters.
The simulation includes a highly detailed cockpit with custom flight systems, supporting GPU interaction and Cold and Dark startup procedures. An animated internal bomb bay adds to the immersion, while the weapons package features AIM-9 and AIM-120 missiles alongside multiple JDAM configurations. The flight model is designed to remain accessible while retaining enough depth to support structured mission flying.
A set of 15 liveries is included, covering evaluation units, aggressor squadrons, and camouflage schemes such as VX-4 Evaluators, SEA camouflage, and the 66th Aggressor Squadron, reinforcing the aircraft’s experimental and conceptual identity.
The FB-22 Strike Raptor supports simInstaller technology, allowing automatic installation and updates via the SIMMARKET app.
