The FlightSim Community Survey 2026 has officially launched, inviting simmers worldwide to contribute to what is becoming the most comprehensive annual analysis of the global flight simulation ecosystem.
Running from 24 February through 9 March 2026, the survey gathers structured data on user behavior, platform preferences, hardware configurations, add-on purchasing trends, and expectations for the year ahead. The objective is clear: build an accurate, data-driven snapshot of the community that developers, publishers, hardware manufacturers, and media can rely on.
In 2025, more than 23,600 participants completed the survey, delivering valuable insights across major platforms including Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane. The 2026 edition aims to expand both participation and analytical depth, strengthening its role as an industry benchmark.
