For those that like their simulations on rails, as well as in the air, RailSimulator.com‘s Train Simulator 2012 (also known as Railworks 3) has been released to existing RW2 users and will become available later today (10AM Pacific Standard Time, according to the product page) to new users as well.

We’ve reported before that Railworks2 add-ons will work on the new platform and that it is a free upgrade to Steam users who already have the previous title. The Horseshoe Curve route, which is included in the Deluxe Edition of the sim for new purchasers should also be available shortly for 50% off the standard price.
