Wisconsin, the latest MegaScenery Earth state

The Northern US state of Wisconsin may not be the first place most people think of as a major part of aviation, but the chances are that while you may not know it’s home state, you’ll almost certainly of heard of the annual EAA AirVenture event at Oshkosh.

Situated right up by the Canadian border in the Great Lakes, all 65 and a half thousand square miles of Wisconsin is recreated here in 50cm/pixel photoreal textures, with borders to Lake Michigan and Lake Superior, as well as surrounding states including Illinois, recently released as part of the same series itself. Oshkosh’s Wittman Regional Airport is only one of the 493 you have to choose from in the state, so there’s plenty of places to explore and tour in FSX. Find out more by clicking here.
