After many years of closure, the airport of Salerno Pontecagnano “Costa d’Amalfi” (ICAO: LIRI, IATA: QSR) finally reopens on July 11, 2024. Completely renovated and ready to accommodate aircraft of virtually any size.
In July 2024 the main innovations will be:
- Runway extended to 2000 m
- Two new taxiways
- The main apron very enlarged compared to the current
- Start of works for the construction of the new General Aviation terminal, scheduled for 2025
