It has been some time since we received any news from the FScene desk. Now we have and Ruud Faber reports “…..  a small but nevertheless annoying thing happened to me, the creator of the FScene replacement ground textures. Earlier this year I provided all online shops with the new, easy to use installers for the FS9 and FSX versions of FScene, not knowing some hard-winter textures had been corrupted during the process.
Thanks to the help of some very attentive customers it was possible to detect the faulty ones amongst the thousands of textures involved. The revised ones are now available and all users are invited to get the free 1MB patch-installer at the FScene website.
