The English Electric Lightning F.3 is one of the iconic fighters of the Cold War, designed from the start as an out-and-out interceptor to combat the threat of the new supersonic Soviet bombers.
Dave Rowberry has created this version, published by Aerosoft, for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D v2.2+. Like the real aircraft, it’s not one for beginners, with a challenging flight model, limited fuel, although you can also use a modelled ejection sequence, when you do something really silly… Full details can be found here.
