Cloud9’s Podgorica is a must-have for flight enthusiasts looking to explore the beautiful
mountainous destination of Podgorica in Eastern Europe. This detailed rendition of LYPG
International Airport captures the essence of the region with stunning accuracy and amazing
textures. In this 2023 version, you get the latest and up to date terminal building and simply the
amazing, picturesque approaches either done during the daytime or nighttime.
The airport, a small single runway airport located in the heart of Montenegro, serving roughly 1.2
million passengers per year with direct service to 30+ airports around the world. The scenery
includes a completely new terminal building with detailed textures, offering an immersive and
realistic experience for virtual pilots. At night, the airport comes to life with full illumination and
dynamic lighting, creating a visually captivating atmosphere. Additionally, the joy of having a full
remote apron with no jetways is a unique experience and seamless integration with SODE, GSX
and the ORBX global base pack when the ground textures blend in!

Airport Features

The CLOUD9’s Podgorica offers amazing features which take advantage of the latest P3D
technologies such as Full night illumination, Dynamic Lighting, P3D v5/v6 native materials
custom ground, which features high-detailed ground polygons and markings, and accurately
modeled airport buildings.
Photo scenery featuring full autogen and seamless blending with the default environment is
included in this scenery which give views of the fantastic approaches as the landmarks of
Podgorica which is located not too far from the airport with some amazing island terrain and
mountainous landscapes.

Modelling and Texturing

After carefully examining the terminal and its features, CLOUD9 have used high quality textures
and have modelled all the major airport buildings with emphasis on high quality texturing and
details of the apron.
Without a doubt, the modelling is of high P3D addon quality, the details included near the main
terminal which shows that CLOUD9 have put a lot of effort and work into the product and its
features and noticeably on the ground markings. They’ve also included a variety of ground vehicles
with amazingly high textures which have been placed around the parking positions features which
go flawlessly along with any ground addon such as GSX.

Final Feedback

Considering the level of detail, performance, and the immersive experience offered, Cloud9 LYPG
Podgorica Airport is undoubtedly a value-for-money investment. The quality justifies the price,
making it a must-have for enthusiasts of Eastern European aviation.
