Just Flight, in collaboration with Thranda Design, is gearing up to release the PA-28R Arrow III for X-Plane 12. This highly detailed add-on is developed through extensive research with a real PA-28R Arrow III, offering an authentic simulation experience. The aircraft model includes accurate depictions of the exterior and interior, featuring 8K textures, numerous animations, and Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials to enhance realism. The add-on includes seven global paint schemes, reflecting the aircraft’s worldwide popularity.
The cockpit is meticulously crafted with fully 3D-modeled instruments and realistic wear and tear. It features a tablet EFB with various apps for customization, interactive checklists, and aircraft configuration. The avionics suite is comprehensive, supporting IFR operations with various radio and navigation units, an autopilot system, and options for additional RealityXP GTN750 integration. The cockpit also includes interactive elements like a logbook panel, flight computer, and adjustable barometric units.
The PA-28R Arrow III’s systems are custom-coded to simulate real-world operations, including a detailed fuel system, electrical system with functional circuit breakers, and realistic landing gear mechanisms. The aircraft’s lighting, trim control, and environmental systems are designed for immersion, with specific sounds and animations enhancing the experience. Additional features include high-quality FMOD sounds, a VR-compatible setup, and a comprehensive manual with performance data and a paint kit for custom liveries.
