Just Flight Provides Final Development Update on F70/F100 Professional MSFS24/20

As Just Flight nears the release of their F70 Professional and F100 Professional aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the team has shared what is likely to be the final written in-development update before moving into pre-release videos. The update highlights the enormous amount of work that has gone into these airliners, from coding and flight model development to sound design, modeling, texturing, and liveries. Each build is rigorously integrated and tested across the five variants and two simulator versions to ensure full functionality and realistic operation.

Among the completed systems, the Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) now generates Traffic and Resolution Advisories with visual and aural alerts, while the Weather Radar provides precipitation information via a colour scale on the EFIS ND. Interactive features have also been added, including the captain’s speed flipchart, paper checklists with lighting, and a fully redesigned EFB with wall and window mounts, housing charts, fuel and payload controls, and various customization options.

Cabin simulation has seen significant enhancements, with full cockpit-to-cabin and cabin-to-cabin communication, functional call lights and chimes, and a fully adjustable cabin lighting system across all five variants. The Digital Music Player now supports manual or automated cabin announcements for boarding, safety briefings, seat belt signs, and other passenger communications, adding a further layer of immersion. Optional equipment settings, such as taxi lights, logo lights, and cockpit units of measurement, are automatically configured based on the selected livery.

Work continues on the core Automatic Flight Control and Augmentation System (AFCAS), Autothrottle System (ATS), and Flight Management System (FMS), which are central to the aircraft’s operation. Sound design is also ongoing, with cabin announcements and pilot callouts recently added. Just Flight confirms that this update marks the end of text-based development updates, with pre-release overview videos expected in the first half of next month, ramping up toward launch.
